Angerton Cottage

Angerton Cottage is in Blackford, near Carlisle. It's detached, so no neighbours attached. The garden is enclosed.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It was all refurbished in 2021. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and everything works properly.

The living room has patio doors out to the garden. There's a wood burner for cooler nights. The garden is a good size. It's private and looks out over fields.

You can bring one dog. The garden being enclosed is handy for that.

For things to do, you're in a quiet spot for walks or cycling from the door. But you can drive into the Lake District in about half an hour. Keswick is about 30 minutes. Windermere a bit longer, maybe 40. Details on walking routes and places are best from the Lake District National Park site.

Carlisle is close. It's got a castle, a cathedral, and Tullie House museum. Hadrian's Wall is a short drive east. You can also drive north into Scotland in under an hour, to the coast around Dumfries and Galloway.

The facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ you can use.
