Church House Barn is a converted barn on Church House Farm in Newton Arlosh. It’s a detached property.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It’s got a 4 Star rating. The layout is upside-down, so the bedrooms are on the ground floor and the living area is upstairs. This is for the views. The stairs to the upper floor are not steep.
You have a patio and garden area. There’s on-site parking. Bikes can be stored.
The main bedroom is a double with an en-suite shower. Patio doors lead to a shared courtyard. The second bedroom has two single beds. There’s also a family bathroom on the ground floor.
Upstairs is the open-plan living space: kitchen, dining area, and sitting area. Doors open to a Juliet balcony. The view looks over the fields to the Solway Coast and across to Scotland. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There is a TV, books, and some board games. If you need to use a washing machine or dryer, you can ask to use the one next door.
There’s a pub that does food about a five-minute walk away. The coast is about six miles.
For days out, the Lake District is within half an hour. The Solway Coast is right there for walks. Carlisle is about fifteen minutes by car for shops.
