Summergate Cottage
Summergate Cottage is in Annan. It's a terraced cottage on a quiet lane. You look out over the Solway Firth, the views are really good.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. It was all done up in 2020. There's a wood burner in the living room, which is nice in the winter. The garden is fully enclosed, so it's safe for dogs. You can sit out there and look at the sea.
The stairs are a bit steep, just so you know. There's a walk-in shower, which is handy.
You can walk into Annan town centre. There are a few pubs and places to eat, and a cinema. The closest shop and pub are about a mile away.
The beach is about three miles. Powfoot is along the coast, it's got a beach and a golf course. The area is good for walking, both along the cliffs and inland. There are a lot of historic sites and castles around here. The Annandale Distillery is nearby if you like whisky.
In July, the town has the Riding of the Marches, with over a hundred horses going through the streets. It's quite a sight.
For facilities, you've got WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
