Summergate Cottage is in Annan, on a quiet lane. It's a terraced cottage, end of a row. The main thing is the view. You can see right out over the Solway Firth from the back garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We had it all redone a few years back, so it's in good condition. The wood burner in the living room works well.
The garden is fully enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can fit two. There's parking right outside.
You can walk into Annan town centre in about fifteen minutes. There are a few pubs and places to eat, and a cinema. The local shop is about a mile away.
The coast is a short drive. There are beaches and cliff walks. Powfoot is along the coast, it's got a good golf course. The beach itself is about three miles from the cottage.
If you want to explore, there's a lot of history around here. Castles and ruins. The Annandale Distillery is nearby if you like whisky. In July, the town has the Riding of the Marches, which is a big horse parade through the streets.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect: wifi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a walk-in shower.
