Nith Villa is an apartment, not a villa. It's on the first floor. You get the keys from a lockbox.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and has what you need, but it's not fancy. The decoration is nice, it's been done up.
It's just off the town centre in Dumfries. A two minute walk and you're on the high street. It's handy, but it's on a main road so you get some traffic noise.
The flat looks out over a shared garden area. You can sit out there. There's street parking, which is usually fine.
Dumfries itself is good for a wander. The River Nith walk is pleasant. Robert Burns' last house is here, if you're interested in that. For kids, there's a farm park about ten minutes' drive away.
Within half an hour you can be at the Solway coast. Sandy beaches, like at Rockcliffe. Caerlaverock Castle and the Wetland Centre are worth a trip. The Galloway Forest Park is about forty minutes if you want proper hills or dark skies for stargazing.
As for facilities: there's WiFi, a washing machine, bedding and towels are included. The shower is over the bath. No pets.
