Inverallan
Inverallan is near Amisfield, a few miles from Dumfries. It’s a detached cottage we refurbished a few years ago.
It’s got three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and it sleeps six. It’s a 5 Star place, so it’s well set up and comfortable. It’s all on one level, so the doorways are wide and there aren’t any steps to get inside. The main living space is open plan with big windows. You get the view across the fields.
The garden is enclosed and private. There’s a hot tub out there. You get proper dark skies at night.
Dumfries is about four miles away for shops and things. You can visit Burns House there if you’re interested. The Threave Gardens are nearby. For a drive, you can pick up the South West Coastal 300 route, which goes along the coast and through the hills.
There are mountain bike trails and walks close by. The area is quiet. You’re not far from the Solway Coast.
For facilities: there’s parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. It’s wheelchair accessible. No pets, sorry.
