Gin Case Nethermill

Gin Case is in Nethermill, just outside Moffat in Dumfriesshire. It's an annex attached to the main farmhouse. We renovated it a few years ago.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. The living room, dining area and kitchen are all upstairs. That's so you get the best of the view. Patio doors open onto a balcony. You look straight out over farmland towards the Moffat hills. It's a good spot to sit.

The place has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The stairs are internal and go straight up from the front door.

You're in a quiet spot but it's easy to get to things. Ae Forest is basically next door. It's a proper mountain biking centre, part of the 7Stanes. There are walking trails there too, along the river and into the hills.

Moffat is a few minutes' drive for shops and places to eat. Dumfries is about nine miles. You've got Burns House and the usual town things there.

If you want a day out, you can drive down to the Solway coast. Places like Kippford and Rockcliffe are about half an hour. Sandyhills beach is there too. For castles, Caerlaverock Castle is towards the coast and Drumlanrig Castle is inland, both within a 30 minute drive.

Because it's rural, the night skies are often very clear. No streetlights.

Facilities: there's parking right outside, a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's storage for bikes.
