Perch Hall Cottage
Perch Hall Cottage is in Johnstonebridge, just off the A74(M). It's a bungalow, so there are no stairs to worry about. It's sandstone, and it sits in a big wrap-around garden.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after.
The kitchen is large and open plan with the dining area. The living room has a wood burning stove. We supply the bedding and towels.
You're a couple of minutes from the motorway, which makes getting around easy. There's a shop and a café that does food all day about half a mile away. Lockerbie is five miles for bigger shops and things. It's got a train station with services to Carlisle, Edinburgh and Glasgow if you don't want to drive.
For days out, Moffat is close by. There are several golf courses around. For walkers or cyclists, you're near a lot of the 7stanes mountain biking trails. The coast is about a 30-minute drive. The Solway Firth is good for birdwatching, especially for the barnacle geese.
You can bring one dog. There's parking right there, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and bike storage.
