Kinnelhook Holiday Cottage
Kinnelhook Holiday Cottage is in Templand, near Lochmaben in Dumfriesshire. It's a detached cottage in our grounds. The main thing is the space. It sleeps eight, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious.
The garden is just over two acres. You're looking out over it and down to Kinnel Water. You have access to our stretch of the river if you want to fish.
The games room is a big deal. It's private, just for the cottage. There's a full-size snooker table, pool, table tennis, darts, and table football. It's a good size, so a group can be in there without it feeling crowded.
The location is quiet. You get proper dark skies at night. There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about a mile and a half away in Lochmaben.
For things to do, you're well placed. There's sailing at Lochmaben itself. The area is good for forest walks, mountain biking trails, and the Solway Coast is about half an hour's drive. Dumfries is around twenty minutes by car.
Facilities-wise, you've got what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. Parking is on site. No pets, sorry.
