Blaeberry Cottage
Blaeberry Cottage is in Johnstonebridge, on a farm. It's a detached cottage on a quiet lane. You've got your own garden. It's fenced in, so it's secure.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. You'll find all the basics. The water pressure in the shower is good. There's a wood burner for the cooler months, and a BBQ outside.
You're on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and maybe some tractors going past. It's a proper rural spot. The farm track has some potholes, you just take it slow.
There's a shop and a pub about a mile and a half away, in Johnstonebridge itself. They're both fine. For a bigger shop, you'd go into Lockerbie, which is about ten minutes by car.
The River Annan is two miles away if you're interested in fishing. For walking or cycling, it's all right on the doorstep. The Southern Upland Way passes nearby. You're in a good spot for driving around Dumfries and Galloway. The coast at places like Sandyhills is about forty minutes away.
Facilities wise: there's parking right outside, a washing machine, WiFi, and a cot if you need it. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
