Curlew Cottage Johnstonebridge

Curlew Cottage is on a hill near Johnstonebridge. It’s detached, so no neighbours through the walls. The views from here are good, straight out to the Moffat Hills.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept. There's a big living room with low windows to see the view. There's also a small snug with an open fire if you want a separate room to sit in. The garden is spacious. There's a wood-fired hot tub on the patio.

You can bring one dog with you at no extra charge. We can sometimes take a second dog if you ask first.

The kitchen is a good size with a dining table. It has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's an electric vehicle charger on the drive.

The local town is Lockerbie, about four miles away. It's got shops, a few restaurants and a train station. You can get a train to Edinburgh or Glasgow from there in just over an hour. Moffat and Thornhill are also close by for a day out.

You're in Dumfries and Galloway, so there's a lot of outdoors stuff nearby. There's good walking and mountain biking routes from the door. The coast with its beaches is about half an hour's drive. There's local fishing. The area is good for stargazing at night because there's not much light around.

Facilities wise: bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's WiFi and a TV. The property has some wheelchair accessible features at the entrance and ground floor facilities.
