Garth House - Castlesteads
Garth House is a cottage in Brampton, Cumbria. It's on the grounds of the main house, which we live in. The cottage itself is modern, built to be a holiday let.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are downstairs and both have super king size beds and their own ensuite bathrooms. Everything upstairs is open plan: kitchen, dining area and living space. There's a 65" TV on the wall. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Outside, there's a private patio with a hot tub and a barbecue. You can park right outside. We have an electric vehicle charger if you need it.
Brampton is a small market town. There's a local shop and a couple of pubs within walking distance. For walks, Gelt Woods is nice and Talkin Tarn is about three miles away. You're well placed for Hadrian's Wall. It's about a 15 minute drive to some of the main sites.
The Lake District National Park is roughly 40 minutes drive if you head towards Penrith and Ullswater. You can also drive north into Scotland in under an hour.
If you're bringing bikes, we have locked storage in our garage you can use.
