The Barn is in Low Row, Cumbria. It's a converted mill barn, right next to our house. The place looks over a little river with a waterfall. You'll see deer and birds around the grounds quite often.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's done to a high standard. Everything's new and works well.
The layout is open plan downstairs. There's a wet room on the ground floor which is handy. The stairs are fine. We've included all bedding and towels.
You get your own patio and garden area with a BBQ. There's parking right outside. We have bike storage if you bring them. There's also a washing machine and dishwasher.
For shops and a pub, it's about two and a half miles to Garrigill. They've got the basics. For a bigger shop, Alston is about five miles.
You're right on the edge of the North Pennines here, so the walking is excellent straight from the door. Local fishing is available. Talkin Tarn and the Walltown Crags are within half an hour's drive. You can get into the northern Lakes, like around Keswick, in about 40 minutes. Northumberland and the Scottish borders are also easy for a day out.
