This is Lake View Cottage in Boothby, Cumbria. It's a detached place, so you're on your own. It looks right out over the fishery lake.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both beds are zip and link, so you can have them set up as twins or doubles. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs inside are steep and a bit narrow.
The main thing here is the fishing. It's on a trout fishing park. You can fish the main lake or there's a smaller fun pond for beginners. They do tuition and kit hire. You need to book and pay for that separately. There's also a cafe and a tackle shop on-site. They've got some big outdoor games and do pond dipping in summer.
Outside, there's a small patio with a view of the lake. It has a private hot tub. There's parking right there.
Inside, it's open plan. Living, dining and kitchen area all together. It's handy for being with everyone. There's a TV, wifi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
Brampton is about a mile away. That's where you'll find a shop, a pub, and a restaurant. Carlisle is a short drive if you need a bigger town.
For getting out, you're well placed. Hadrian's Wall is close by. There are good riverside walks nearby. Ullswater and the Northern Lakes are about half an hour's drive. There's a local golf course too.
