The Scotch Arms Mews is a converted part of an old pub building in Brampton. It's semi-detached. Sleeps a lot of people, up to fourteen. Seven bedrooms, all with their own shower room.
It's a five star place. That means it's well-equipped and kept to a good standard. The finish is modern and clean.
You're right in the village. The shops, pubs, and places to eat are about a minute's walk away. There's a good sized parking area at the back for several cars, which is handy for a group that size.
Brampton is a good spot for getting out. Hadrian's Wall is right on the doorstep. You can be walking a section of it in ten minutes. Talkin Tarn is a couple of miles away for a walk or some boating. The city of Carlisle is about twenty minutes by car for proper shops and the castle.
You can get to the edge of the Lake District, around Keswick or Pooley Bridge, in roughly half an hour. Scotland isn't much further.
Inside, it's got what you'd need for a big group: a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi. There's a wood burner in the living area. There's a garden with seating. We allow one well-behaved dog.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust for Hadrian's Wall and the Lake District National Park sites are useful.
