Seventeen Ten
This is Seventeen Ten. It's in Greenwell, which is a tiny hamlet a few miles from Brampton. The cottage sleeps three. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It was all done up a few years back so everything works, but it still feels like an old cottage. There's a woodburning stove. The wifi is fine.
You can bring one dog. There's a garden out the front which is shared with the cottage next door, but it's open plan so it feels like your own space. There's parking right there.
The local pub is about a fifteen minute walk away. Brampton is a few minutes in the car for shops and a few more places to eat.
For a walk, Talkin Tarn is very close. It's a big country park with a lake. You can go rowing or just walk around it. Talkin Tarn Country Park has the details.
You're in a good spot for seeing other things. Hadrian's Wall is about a twenty minute drive. English Heritage has a map of the sites. Carlisle is about twenty minutes. The edge of the Lake District is maybe half an hour's drive. You can get into Northumberland or southern Scotland in under an hour.
It has the things you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
