Seventeen Ten
This is Seventeen Ten in Greenwell. It’s a small, quiet hamlet near Brampton. The cottage is semi-detached, part of a pair. You get your own garden at the front.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The place was all refitted a few years ago so it works well. There's a window inside one of the other windows, which is a bit of a talking point.
There’s a pub about three quarters of a mile away. Brampton is a short drive for shops and more places to eat. Talkin Tarn Country Park is very close. Good for a walk or a bit of fishing. You can be at Hadrian’s Wall in under half an hour.
You’re well placed for getting about. Carlisle is about 20 minutes. The edge of the Lake District is maybe 40 minutes. Northumberland and the Scottish Borders are also within easy reach for a day out.
Facilities: it has a wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
