West View is a detached house in Castle Carrock. It's a small village just outside the North Pennines. The house was fully done up a few years ago.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is in good order.
The main thing is the space. There's a cinema room with a big TV. There's also a football table and a record player with some old singles. Outside, there's a putting green on the lawn. It's enclosed, so it's safe for dogs or kids.
The village pub is about a minute's walk away. It's won awards. Brampton is four miles away for shops and cafes.
You're in a good spot for getting out. Hadrian's Wall is close by. Birdoswald Roman Fort is a main site there. Talkin Tarn is nearby for walking or boating. The Lake District, the Solway Coast, and the Scottish Borders are all about half an hour's drive away.
The village has a music festival at the end of July called Music on the Marr. It can be busy then.
In terms of what's here: there's a wood burner, a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and parking for two cars. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
For more information on the area, the North Pennines AONB website is useful, as is the Lake District National Park site.
