Moat View is in Brampton. It's a one-bedroom cottage for two people, with a 4 Star rating. It's just off the main street.
The cottage is on two floors. The stairs are a bit narrow. Downstairs is one open room with the kitchen, table, and sofa. Upstairs is the bedroom and the bathroom. The bed is a good size and comfortable. There's a small outside area by the front door with a table and chairs.
You can walk to everything in the town in about a minute. There are a few shops, a couple of restaurants, and some pubs. You don't really need the car if you're just popping out.
Brampton is handy for a few things. Talkin Tarn, which is a lake in a country park, is about two miles away. Good for a walk. Hadrian's Wall is close. You can drive to various bits of it, like Birdoswald or Lanercost, in under ten minutes.
Carlisle is nine miles away. It's got the castle and the shops. The edge of the Lake District, around Bassenthwaite or Keswick, is about half an hour's drive. The Solway Coast and the beaches over the border into Scotland are about the same.
For facilities, you've got a parking space, WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a shower, no bath.
