Eden Cottage is in Warwick Bridge, which is a village just outside Carlisle. It's a small stone cottage on a corner plot, detached. We had it all done up a few years back.
It sleeps three, but it's really best for two. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped, but not huge.
The local pub, the Crown Inn, is right next door. You can see it from the front door. They do food. There's a shop a few minutes' walk away.
The River Eden is just down the lane, maybe a five-minute walk. You can fish there. It's a nice walk along the riverbank towards Corby Bridge.
Carlisle is about ten minutes by car. You've got the castle, the Tullie House museum, and the shops there.
The cottage is a good base for getting about. The northern Lakes, like Keswick and Ullswater, are about half an hour's drive. Hadrian's Wall is the same, maybe less to Birdoswald. The Scottish border is very close, Gretna Green is about fifteen minutes away.
For things included: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. The garden is enclosed. You can bring one dog. All bedding and towels are provided.
