Garth House - Peel Castle
Garth House is next to Brampton, a market town. It's one of four cottages in our garden. The main house is from the 1830s and we live there. This cottage is called Peel Castle.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and everything's included. The living space is all open plan. There's a large TV in there. The kitchen is modern with a dishwasher.
Outside, there's a patio garden with a barbecue and a private hot tub. We have an electric vehicle charger on site. You can park right there.
Brampton has a couple of pubs and shops. It's a five minute walk. For a good walk locally, Gelt Woods is close. Talkin Tarn Country Park is a short drive. It's a lake you can walk around.
You're well placed here. Hadrian's Wall is within a few miles. The edge of the Lake District, like Keswick, is about a half hour drive north. Carlisle is 20 minutes east. You can be in Scotland in under an hour, Gretna Green is about 40 minutes.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and on-site parking. No pets. We can store bikes in our locked garage if you need.
