Meadow View
Meadow View is part of Armathwaite Manor. The Manor is an old building from the 1800s, a big house on the edge of the village. Your bit is one end of it.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. The rating is 5 Star Gold, which means it's been finished to a high standard. It's comfortable.
You get the garden area outside your door to yourselves. There's a private hot tub there. Parking is on site.
Inside, it's been done up. The rooms are large. There's a big TV in the living room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Everything flows from the living room through to the kitchen.
The stairs are standard, not too steep.
Armathwaite is a small village. There's a local pub you can walk to. The village is on the Settle to Carlisle railway line if that's of interest.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the Lake District. The National Park starts about a fifteen minute drive away. You can be in Keswick in under half an hour. Carlisle is about twenty minutes north. Hadrian's Wall is a bit further, maybe forty minutes. Scotland is an hour's drive up the M6 if you fancy a trip.
You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
