Staffield Cottage

Staffield Cottage is in the hamlet of Staffield, in the Eden Valley. It's quiet here. You're about halfway between Carlisle and Penrith.

The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star grading. One bedroom has a king-size bed. The other has twin beds that can be zipped together to make another king-size if you prefer.

You've got a woodburning stove for cooler nights. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. We take up to two dogs. The entrance is wheelchair accessible and there's a walk-in shower.

For basics, the nearest villages are Kirkoswald, Armathwaite, Lazonby and Great Salkeld. They all have a shop and a pub. The pubs do food.

You're well placed for getting out. Ullswater and Pooley Bridge are about a 20 minute drive. Keswick and Derwentwater are maybe 25 minutes. Hadrian's Wall is close, maybe 15 minutes to the nearest bits. The Northern Pennines and the Yorkshire Dales are on your doorstep.

Facilities: there's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair.
