Belfield

It's called Belfield. It's in Canon Frome, out in the Herefordshire countryside. The place is detached, so no neighbours on either side.

We had it renovated a few years back. It's a four star place, which means it's comfortable and everything works. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, and two bathrooms, which is handy. One bedroom is downstairs, the other is up. Both beds can be set up as doubles or twins, just let us know.

Downstairs is all open plan: kitchen, dining, living area. The beams are exposed. There are double doors that open out onto the patio and a big lawn. The view from there is over fields towards some woods.

You've got the usual things: a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The parking is right there. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.

It's very quiet around here. The nearest proper shop and garage is about three and a half miles away at Newtown Cross. For a pub, you've got a couple in Bishops Frome, which is the same sort of distance. There's another that does food in Staplow, in the other direction.

Ledbury is about five miles. That's where you'll find the train station, shops, and a few restaurants. There's a golf course about five miles away too.

If you're looking for days out, the Malvern Hills aren't far for walking. Hereford is about half an hour's drive, and you've got the Cathedral and the Museum and Art Gallery there. The National Trust has a few properties in the county too, like Berrington Hall.

No pets, I'm afraid.
