Wheelhouse Cottage
This is Wheelhouse Cottage, in Ocle Pychard. It's a detached single storey place, for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom, all ensuite. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It's tidy and comfortable.
It's detached so you're on your own, and it’s quiet. The patio faces south over fields, so you get the sun. It’s a bungalow mostly, but there are a couple of internal steps between some rooms. Just so you know.
It's a good spot for exploring. Hereford city is about ten minutes away by car. You've got the cathedral, the Mappa Mundi, and that cider museum. Leominster, Bromyard and Ledbury are all within a twenty minute drive for shops and places to eat.
For walks, the Bromyard Downs are close. The Malverns are about half an hour’s drive. The Forest of Dean and the Black Mountains are a bit further, maybe forty minutes. If you’re into canoeing, the River Wye is the place to go.
Hay-on-Wye is about forty minutes away. Worcester, Gloucester and Cheltenham are all under an hour.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot and a highchair if needed. No pets, sorry.
