Wheelhouse Cottage is a detached bungalow near the village of Ocle Pychard, about ten minutes north of Hereford. It's on its own, down a track, so it's quiet. You get a view over the fields from the patio.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-kept. Because it's a bungalow, most of it is on one level, but there are a couple of steps between some of the rooms inside. Just so you know.
Hereford is the main place to go. The cathedral and the Mappa Mundi are worth seeing. There's a cider museum too. Leominster, Bromyard and Ledbury are all market towns within twenty minutes or so. They've got the usual shops and a few decent places to eat.
If you like walking, you've got plenty of options. The Bromyard Downs are close. The Malvern Hills are about half an hour's drive for a proper hill walk. The Forest of Dean and the Black Mountains are a bit further, maybe forty minutes. For something different, you can hire canoes on the River Wye.
In terms of stuff here: there's parking right outside, a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
