The Grooms Cottage
The Grooms Cottage is a two-bedroom place on our land. It looks out onto our orchard. It's got the old stone walls and beams still showing, so it feels like a cottage.
It sleeps five. There are two bedrooms, and both have their own bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, not huge.
The stairs are steep and narrow, just so you know. They're the original cottage stairs.
You're in Trumpet, on the A417. It's a main road so you can hear a bit of traffic, but it means you can get to places easily. There's a good pub that does food about a quarter of a mile down the road.
Ledbury is about ten minutes away. It's one of those black and white timbered towns. Nice for a wander and a coffee. Hereford is about twenty minutes in the car if you need a bigger shop or want to see the cathedral and the Mappa Mundi.
If you like walking, you're in the right spot. There are plenty of paths from the door. You can drive into the Malvern Hills or over to the Forest of Dean within about forty minutes. For a day out, the National Trust has a few properties nearby like Berrington Hall.
What's here: there's parking, wifi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
