There’s a pub that does food about two and a half miles away. For more, you’d drive to Ledbury or Ross-on-Wye, which are historic market towns.
You’re well placed for getting out. Eastnor Castle and Symonds Yat are a short drive. The Forest of Dean is close for walking, cycling, or canoeing. You can also look at the Wye Valley site for ideas.
