Yarlington Mill
This is Yarlington Mill, one of our cottages on the farm just outside Ledbury. It's a two bedroom place, sleeps three. Gets the three star rating. That means it's clean and comfortable, not luxury.
The cottage used to be a farm building. We've got a few of them up here, all named after old cider apple varieties. We grow apples in the orchard and make cider. You might see the process if you're here at the right time.
Inside it's open plan downstairs. There's a TV and WiFi. Parking is right outside. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've brought dogs. We allow two pets.
It's about a half mile walk into Ledbury town centre. It's a gentle stroll, down the lane. Ledbury's nice. Old timber buildings, a proper buttermarket. There are pubs, restaurants, a couple of supermarkets, and some independent shops.
You're on the edge of the Malverns here. Good walking straight from the door, or a short drive to the main hills. Eastnor Castle is about ten minutes away by car. The Westons Cider Mill at Much Marcle is also close, if that's your sort of thing.
Further out, within half an hour or so, you've got Hereford, the Wye Valley, and the Forest of Dean. The Malvern Hills Conservators site has maps and walking routes.
Facilities are what you'd expect. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, bedding is included. Heating and electricity are in the price. It's a no-fuss sort of place.
