Yarlington Mill
Yarlington Mill is one of a few cottages up at Old Kennels Farm on the edge of Ledbury. It's a two-bedroom place, so it sleeps three. You get a bathroom, a garden, and parking right outside.
The stairs are steep. It's a converted farm building, so that's how they are. There's a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and TV. Bedding is included. We take up to two dogs.
It's a three-star place. So it's comfortable and clean, not luxury. The farm grows apples for cider. You can walk into Ledbury town centre in about ten minutes. There are pubs, restaurants, and shops there, including two supermarkets.
From here you're right by the Malvern Hills. Good walking country. The Malverns are National Trust so there's plenty of information on their site. Eastnor Castle is nearby, and so is The International Centre for Birds of Prey near Newent. Westons Cider Mill is in Much Marcle, about a ten-minute drive.
If you want to go further, Hereford is about twenty minutes by car, and the Forest of Dean is maybe half an hour. Worcester and Gloucester are also within a thirty-minute drive.
