The Bothy is a detached stone building on our property in Upper Welland. We're in the middle of Worcestershire, about fifteen minutes drive from Malvern. It's just for two people.
It's a studio, so one open-plan space. There's a double bed, a small kitchen area, a table and chairs, and a sofa. The shower room is separate. Everything's on one level. That's why we call it a bothy. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The patio is private and enclosed. You can sit out there. It gets the sun in the evening. There's parking right next to it.
You're welcome to bring dogs, up to two. We ask that they stay off the furniture.
Upper Welland is a hamlet, so it's quiet. There's a pub in the next village, about a mile and a half away. They do food.
From here, you can get to the Malvern Hills in under half an hour for walking. The National Trust site has maps. The Severn Valley Railway starts in Bridgnorth, which is about a 25 minute drive. Worcester is twenty minutes away. The cathedral is worth seeing.
For facilities: bedding and towels are included, there's a TV, a washing machine, and we can put out a cot and highchair if you need them.
