The West Barn
The West Barn is in Hanley Castle, Worcestershire. It's on the Lechmere Estate, which is a private country estate with a vineyard. The barn looks across at the main house, which is a Jacobean mansion. The estate is old, records go back to the 12th century.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and each has its own bathroom, which is useful. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well-finished and comfortable. The space is open plan downstairs.
You're right at the bottom of the Malvern Hills. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The hills are good for walking. The nearest pub is about half a mile's walk. Upton-upon-Severn is a bit over a mile away, it's a small town on the River Severn with pubs and shops. You can walk there along the riverbank.
Worcester is about a twenty minute drive. You've got the cathedral and the Royal Worcester museum there. Great Malvern is about fifteen minutes away. The train station there is worth seeing. Ledbury is a nice market town, also about fifteen minutes. If you want to go further, the Cotswolds or Hereford are within an hour.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The garden is enclosed and there's a BBQ. You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside.
The estate owners sometimes offer catering, like a dinner or a breakfast hamper, but you have to arrange that in advance.
