Tom Putt is one of the cottages here at Old Kennels Farm, just outside Ledbury. It's a working farm, about 24 acres. We grow apples and make our own cider. The cottage is a conversion of an old farm building, like the others here. They're all named after cider apple varieties.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. We've tried to make it accessible where we can. There's a wheelchair-accessible entrance and grab rails in the bathroom. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you have kids.
You can walk into Ledbury town centre in about ten or fifteen minutes. It's a nice walk. The town has proper old timber-framed buildings, a few pubs, restaurants, and shops. There's a leisure centre with a pool about half a mile away.
The farm is right on the edge of the Malvern Hills. You can drive up into the hills in a few minutes for walking. Eastnor Castle is about ten minutes away by car. The Forest of Dean is a bit further, maybe 30 minutes. It's good for cycling. Hereford is about 20 minutes drive if you need a bigger city.
As for the cottage itself, it has the basics. Wi-Fi, TV, a dishwasher, and parking right outside. Bedding is included. No pets, I'm afraid.
If you're looking for things to do, the Malvern Hills Trust site has walking maps. The National Trust has a few places nearby too, like Berrington Hall.
