Quarry Lodge is on our farm in Waller's Green, just outside Munsley. It's a detached stone cottage, so you won't have anyone next door. The name comes from the old quarry in the field behind it. It's a quiet spot, you're just looking at fields and woods.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two of those are en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Being an old farm building, the ceilings are a bit low in a couple of the doorways. Just mind your head.
It's a working farm. You'll see sheep in the fields and the tractor going past sometimes. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. We allow two.
For facilities, you've got pretty much everything: a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. There's a BBQ out the back. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
The local pub is about a mile's walk down the lane. They do good food. Ledbury is the nearest proper town, about four miles away. It's got shops, supermarkets, and the train station. It's a nice place, lots of those black and white timbered buildings.
You're right on the edge of the Malvern Hills, which is great for walking. Eastnor Castle is about a twenty-minute drive. The Wye Valley and Forest of Dean are within half an hour if you fancy a trip out. Hereford city is about half an hour away too.
