This is Orchard Chapel in Much Marcle. It's a one-bedroom place that sleeps two. We converted it from an old chapel, so the shape is a bit different. It's next to our house but you have your own privacy, and you can use the garden. The garden is about two acres, with some fruit trees.
The main thing is the view. You look west from the front windows over fields, and on a clear day you can see the Malvern Hills. It's quiet here. You might hear sheep or birds, but not much else.
Inside, it's open plan. The living area, kitchen and bedroom are all in one big room. There's a separate bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, but it's not a big modern house. It's a chapel. The bed is up a short flight of stairs on a mezzanine level.
You can bring one small dog. There's parking right outside.
In the village, there are three pubs. They're all within walking distance and do food. There's a shop about a mile away. The village is known for cider. You can visit Westons Cider Mill which is here.
For days out, Ledbury is about ten minutes by car. It's a nice market town with black and white timbered buildings. Ross-on-Wye is about the same distance, that's more for the River Wye and outdoor things. Eastnor Castle is nearby too. The Malvern Hills and the Wye Valley are both within half an hour if you like walking.
What's here: wifi, TV, a dishwasher, bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. There's a barbecue and a patio area outside.
