Brown Snout

This is Brown Snout. It's one of several cottages on Old Kennels Farm just outside Ledbury. They're all named after old types of cider apple. The farm's about twenty four acres, mostly apple trees for making cider.

It sleeps two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not a show home.

The cottage has its own little enclosed garden. You can park right outside. There's wifi and a TV. Bedding is included.

You're allowed to bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed but I'd keep an eye on a dog that likes to dig.

It's about half a mile walk into Ledbury town centre. It's an easy, flat walk. The town has decent pubs and restaurants. There's a small leisure centre with a pool. You've got a couple of supermarkets for a big shop, and lots of individual little shops.

The farm is right on the edge of the Malvern Hills, so the walking is excellent straight from the door. If you want to drive, Eastnor Castle is about ten minutes away. The Malvern Hills Trust website has good maps and walking routes.

Westons Cider Mill is in Much Marcle, which is a ten minute drive. You can do a tour.
