Wishing Well Cottage is in Ham Green, Herefordshire. It's a detached bungalow, so it's all on one level. That's handy if stairs are tricky.
The name comes from the actual well in the front garden. It's got a little roof over it. The main garden is enclosed at the back. It looks out over fields, no other houses in the way. It's very quiet out there.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. That's useful. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a woodburning stove for winter, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
The lane outside is a public footpath, so you can just step out and go for a walk straight into the countryside. There's a stream nearby.
The nearest pub with food is about two miles away, in Mathon. Malvern is three and a half miles. That's where you'll find the bigger shops, a leisure centre, and a theatre that gets touring shows. Ledbury is about seven miles, it's a nice market town.
You're in a good spot for getting around. The Malvern Hills are right there for walking. Hereford, Worcester, and Gloucester are all within about half an hour's drive for a day out. The Forest of Dean and the Cotswolds are also easy to reach. If you want to go further, Cheltenham or Stratford-upon-Avon are under an hour.
