This is Haywain. It's part of Whitewells Farm, near Ridgeway Cross in Herefordshire. It's an upside-down cottage, so you live upstairs and sleep downstairs.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The main bedroom is very large and has a sink in it. The bathroom has a rainfall shower over the bath. You get the bed linen and towels.
The stairs are fairly steep, as you'd expect. Upstairs is the kitchen and living room. The ceilings are beamed and the view from the living room over the fields is really good. You can see the Malvern Hills from here.
Outside, there's a patio area with a table and a barbecue. There's parking right outside. You can bring one dog.
The farm is in the countryside. The nearest pub is about a mile and a half away. There are a lot of good walks straight from the cottage. The Malvern Hills are about a 20-minute drive if you want to go up there.
You're about 20 minutes from Ledbury, which has nice cafes and butchers. Hereford is about half an hour. If you like castles or National Trust places, there are plenty within a 30-minute drive. The Berrington Hall estate is close by.
Inside, there's a TV, wifi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. We can provide a highchair and a stairgate if you need them. There's also a shed if you bring bikes.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well looked after, but it's not a show home. It's a converted barn, so it's got character.
