Whitewells Farm is in Ridgeway Cross, up near Bromyard. It's a bit out of the way, really rural. Haywain is one of the cottages here. They were converted from old farm buildings back in the 70s, so you get the original beams and that sort of thing.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are all downstairs. One's a good sized double, the other's a single. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. The stairs then go up to the living area, which is a bit unusual. It's an upside-down layout, so the kitchen and sitting room are on the first floor. The view from there is the main thing. You look out over the fields.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well looked after.
You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside. All the bedding and towels are provided. There's Wi-Fi and a TV.
The nearest pub is about a mile and a half away. For shopping, you'll need to drive to Bromyard or Ledbury.
If you want to get out, you're well placed. The Malvern Hills are close for walking. Ledbury is a nice market town. Hereford is about half an hour, Worcester maybe 40 minutes. There are lots of National Trust houses and gardens around here too. The National Trust for Herefordshire and Worcestershire site has details. For walking routes, the Malvern Hills Trust page is useful.
