Parkers

This is Parkers. It's one of four cottages here on the Netherley Hall Estate, which is a working farm just outside Cradley. The estate is about 700 acres, so it's very quiet. You're right on the border of Herefordshire and Worcestershire, on the west side of the Malvern Hills.

The cottage itself sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and five bathrooms, which is useful with a big group. It's a detached, listed building from 1610 that's been restored. They used oak from the estate's own woodland. It's done to a high standard, so it's comfortable, but it's still an old building. The stairs are typical for that age.

You're on a farm, so you'll see sheep and cattle. There are good walks straight from the door into the woods and hills. The views from the cottage are over fields and wooded hills. If you like birdwatching, it's very good here.

Facilities wise, you've got a woodburning stove, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a patio and garden area, a barbecue, and parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. There's also a cot if you need it.

The nearest shop is about a mile away in Cradley. There's a pub two miles away that does food.

For things to do, the Malvern Hills are right there for walking. The Three Counties Showground and Malvern Theatre are within 15 minutes drive. There are several racecourses within about 30-45 minutes, like Hereford and Worcester. Cheltenham is a bit further. There's fishing, golf, and horse riding nearby too.

If you want to explore, Hereford is about a 30 minute drive. Ledbury is closer. The Malvern Hills are managed by a conservation trust, and their site is good for walking routes.
