Old Hop Kiln

Old Hop Kiln is on our farm at Ridgeway Cross. It's a converted barn, so there are a lot of old beams and it feels solid. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Two bathrooms, one's a full shower room, the other has a bath.

The main thing is the shape. It was a hop kiln, so the kitchen and the big bathroom upstairs are circular. It's unusual. The stairs are open-tread and go up from the living area.

You look out the front over the duck pond and one of the lawns. We've got a few cottages around the yard, but you have your own space.

It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. We include all bedding and towels. You can bring one dog.

The local pub is about a mile and a half away. They do food. For shops, you'd go into Bromyard or Ledbury, which are a short drive.

If you want to get out, you've got the Malvern Hills for walking. The National Trust has a lot of properties around here, like Berrington Hall. Hereford city is about twenty minutes away for the cathedral and the Mappa Mundi.

You're quite central for day trips. Worcester, Ludlow, or the Forest of Dean are all within an hour's drive.
