Brook House
Brook House is one of four cottages on our farm here in Cradley. It's a detached place, sleeps ten. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which basically means it's comfortable and everything works properly.
The house is old, dated to about 1670. It's listed, so the walls aren't perfectly straight and the floors can creak. That's just how it is. We've used oak from the estate to do it up. The garden is landscaped and there's a terrace that looks over the Mathon Brook.
You're on a working farm, about 700 acres. We breed sheep and cattle. So you'll see animals in the fields and there's wildlife about. The views are over the west side of the Malvern Hills.
Inside, there's a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there. You can bring up to two dogs. There's also a cot if you need one.
The nearest shop is about a mile away. There's a pub two miles down the road. Malvern itself is a 15 minute drive. Good for walks, the theatre, and general shopping.
If you're looking for things to do, the Malvern Hills are right there for walking. The National Trust has a few places like Berrington Hall within half an hour. For a longer day out, you can get to Hereford, Worcester, or even Cheltenham in under an hour.
