Walkers Lodge is in Dormington, in the middle of the Herefordshire countryside. It's a detached cabin in our garden, so it's quiet. You get the patio and your own bit of garden to sit out.
Everything's on one level. It sleeps two, one bedroom, one shower room. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's also wheelchair accessible at the entrance.
The kitchen has a dishwasher. There's a TV, wifi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a barbecue on the patio.
You're out on your own here. The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in Mordiford. They're decent.
For walking, you're right by it. Backbury Woods and Haugh Woods are on the doorstep. You can just step out the door and go.
Hereford is about ten minutes by car. The cathedral is worth a look. Ledbury is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes. It's a nice old market town. Eastnor Castle is near Ledbury, good for a wander round.
If you like that sort of thing, the Chase Distillery is nearby for tours. They make gin and vodka.
