Stocks Tree Cottage
Stocks Tree Cottage is in Preston Wynne. It's a hamlet, really, a quiet spot in the middle of the fields. The cottage is a timber barn conversion, attached to our house. You'll have your own entrance and garden.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. The main bathroom has a shower and a bath seat is fitted, just so you know. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
There are oak beams inside, which are nice. The stairs are fairly typical for this sort of place, so take your time on them.
The garden is enclosed. Parking is right there. We've also installed an electric vehicle charger.
You're looking out over farmland. It's peaceful. The nearest proper shop and pub are about two miles away in Bodenham. Weymouth Cross, a couple of miles further on, has a couple of restaurants.
Hereford city is about a twenty-minute drive. You've got the cathedral, the Mappa Mundi, and the cider museum there. For walking, the Bromyard Downs are very close. The Forest of Dean is roughly half an hour east. In the other direction, Hay-on-Wye and the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons are also about thirty minutes away.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
