Stocks Tree Cottage Preston Wynne

Stocks Tree Cottage is in Preston Wynne, which is a small hamlet outside Bromyard in Herefordshire. It's a barn that was converted into the cottage, and it's attached to my house next door. You'll see me about, but you've got your own space.

It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. The place has a lot of the original oak beams, so the ceilings are a bit lower in some places but you get the character. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing a dog. We're happy for one well-behaved dog. The garden gets sun most of the day.

You're out in the country here. It's quiet. The nearest proper shop and a decent pub are about two miles away in Bromyard. There's a restaurant or two there as well.

For getting out, Bromyard Downs is right there for walking. Hereford is about twenty minutes by car. They've got the cathedral and the Mappa Mundi, all that. The Forest of Dean is maybe forty minutes, and Hay-on-Wye for the bookshops is a bit less than an hour. The Malvern Hills and the Black Mountains are within reach for a good walk too.

What's here: There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, wifi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if needed, and a stairgate. There's parking on site, and I've put in an electric vehicle charger.
