The Byre Little Cowarne

The Byre is in Little Cowarne, just outside Bromyard. It’s a converted farm building, so it’s a single storey. Everything is on the ground floor.

It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It’s a 4 Star place, which means it’s comfortable and well kept. The patio is enclosed and private, with a table and a BBQ.

You’re about four miles from Bromyard. It’s got shops, pubs, and the basics. The nearest pub is about half a mile walk down the lane.

The location is quiet. You’re in the countryside, so it’s good for just switching off. There are walks from the door. For something bigger, the Malvern Hills are about twenty miles away.

If you want a day out, Berrington Hall and Croft Castle are both National Trust properties nearby. Hereford is eleven miles for the cathedral and the Mappa Mundi. Ludlow is about twenty miles, good for food. Hay-on-Wye is roughly half an hour if you like books.

There’s a private swimming pool you can book by the hour, just a couple of minutes walk away. Fishing is available locally too.

Facilities: It’s got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. We include bedding and towels. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There’s a cot and highchair if needed. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
