The Byre is on a lane just outside Little Cowarne, between Pencombe and Bromyard. It’s a small stone place that used to be a cattle shed. It's detached, so you're on your own out here.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's been done up to a decent modern standard but it's still a cottage. Everything is on the ground floor and the doorways are wide enough for a wheelchair.
You get a private, walled patio out the back with a table and chairs, and a barbecue. It's south-facing, so you'll get the sun. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
The village pub is about a mile away. Bromyard is your nearest place for shops and things. That's about four miles. It's got a few pubs, a small theatre, and a leisure centre.
Hereford and Leominster are both about eleven miles in different directions. Ludlow is a bit further, maybe half an hour's drive. They're nice for a day out, good for bookshops and food.
There's a private swimming pool you can book by the hour just down the lane. They'll give you the details when you book.
If you like walking or history, you're well placed. Berrington Hall and Croft Castle are both National Trust places nearby. Berrington Hall and Croft Castle.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's parking right outside.
