The Hop Bind is on the edge of Bromyard. It's on a working farm, so you'll see sheep in the field. It used to be part of a hop kiln, so it's a big, semi-detached barn conversion. It sleeps a lot of people, thirteen I think. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms.
Inside, it's what you'd expect from a barn. Exposed beams, rough walls, that sort of thing. There's a piano in the living room if anyone plays. The main thing is the kitchen and dining area. It's very big, good for a crowd, and it has underfloor heating. There's a wood burner in the other room.
We've got a 3 Star rating. It means it's clean and comfortable, not luxury. There's a ground floor bedroom with a wet room shower, which is handy. The garden is yours to use, with a BBQ and a patio.
You can walk into Bromyard in about fifteen minutes. There are a few pubs and places to eat there. The nearest shop is about half a mile.
If you drive, you can get to the Malvern Hills in about twenty minutes. The Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean are about half an hour away. For a day out, Hereford is about twenty minutes drive. It's good for walking or cycling from the doorstep really, just out into the lanes.
Things to know: you can bring two dogs. All the bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, a highchair, a stairgate. Wifi and parking are there. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance and that ground floor wet room helps.
