Wester Caiplich
Wester Caiplich is a cottage on Dalnaglar Castle Estate, near Blacklunans in Perthshire. It's about a mile and a half from the main road, up a private track, so it's quiet. You're right on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, both with twin beds. One bedroom is downstairs with its own shower room, the other is upstairs and uses a separate shower room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The living room is comfortable with a big TV. The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The garden is enclosed and has a hot tub. We allow up to two dogs. The estate is 200 acres, so you can walk straight from the door. There's a private loch on the estate you can use.
You're about nine miles from the nearest shop, pub, or restaurant, in Kirkmichael or Glenshee. That's just how it is out here. For activities, you're close to the Glenshee Ski Centre and the Cateran Trail walking route. Golf, fishing, and horse riding are all nearby. Persie Distillery is a short drive for gin.
For a day out, Dundee is about an hour's drive. Edinburgh or Glasgow are around an hour and a half. You're well placed for driving into the Cairngorms or through the Glens.
In terms of what's here, all the bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Parking is right outside.
