Dalvanie Mill is out in Folda, which is up at the top of Glenisla in Perthshire. It's a detached cottage on a small working farm. You get your own bit of garden.
The place sleeps six. Four bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a three star rating. That means it's comfortable but not high-end. The farm is active, so you'll see sheep and hear the usual farm noises.
It's very much for people who want to be away from things. The nearest proper shop and a pub that does food are both about seven miles away. You'll want to come with your supplies.
If you're walking or birdwatching, you can just go straight out from the door. There's fishing and horse riding nearby. The Glenshee ski slopes are about eight miles away for winter. For a day out, Pitlochry is a good drive, about 35 miles. They've got the fish ladder, a theatre, and shops.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. It's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right there. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. The garden is enclosed. You can bring up to three dogs.
