Keepers Cottage Blacklunans

Keepers Cottage is in Blacklunans, Perthshire. It's a detached cottage on the Dalnaglar Castle Estate. The place sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two shower rooms.

The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and modern. Downstairs, two bedrooms are at opposite ends of the cottage. They each have single beds that can be joined into super king-size doubles if you prefer. They share a shower room. Upstairs is another bedroom with twin singles and its own shower room.

The main room is open-plan. Kitchen, dining, and living area. There's a wood burner and a large wall-mounted TV. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, and a double oven. Patio doors lead out to a deck with a six-person hot tub.

The cottage is on a private estate of 200 acres. You're right on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. It feels remote, about a mile and a half from the main road. You'll see deer. There's a private loch on the estate, some guests use it for paddle boarding. You can walk the Cateran Trail from here.

For getting out, Glenshee Ski Centre is about a 20-minute drive. There's local fishing and horse riding. The nearest shop, pub, or restaurant is in Kirkmichael, which is nine miles away. For a day trip, Dundee is roughly an hour's drive. Edinburgh or Glasgow are about an hour and a half.

Facilities: All bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. WiFi. Parking. The place is wheelchair accessible at the entrance. You can bring up to two dogs.
