Keepers Cottage is on the Dalnaglar Castle Estate, near Blacklunans in Perthshire. It's detached. You're a couple of miles off the main road, up a private drive, so it's quiet. The views over the fields and hills are very good.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Downstairs has two bedrooms that can be either twins or super king doubles. They share a shower room. Upstairs is another twin bedroom with its own shower room. The main living space is open plan, with a kitchen, dining table, and sitting area with a wood burner. There's a 70-inch TV on the wall. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, and a double oven.
Outside, there's a large deck with a six-person hot tub. It's heated and ready for when you arrive. The garden looks out over the estate.
The estate is about 200 acres. There's a private loch you can walk to, about twenty minutes across the fields. People use it for paddle boarding. You'll see red deer and birds of prey. It's dog friendly, with space for them to run.
For things to do, you're right on the Cateran Trail for walking. The Glenshee ski centre is about twenty minutes drive for skiing in winter. There's fishing and golf nearby. The Persie Distillery is a short drive for gin tasting.
For a bigger day out, Dundee is under an hour's drive. Edinburgh or Glasgow are about an hour and a half.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. WiFi is provided. Parking is right outside. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
