Rowan Tree Cottage Folda

Rowan Tree Cottage is in Folda, which is in Glenisla. It's a detached bungalow, so it's all on one level. You're out on your own a bit, which is nice. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got a dog.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. Everything is open plan inside.

There's a hot tub. It's private, just for you. You also get a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a barbecue. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right there.

You can bring one dog. There's bicycle storage if you're cycling, and you're near some local horse riding. It's a proper rural spot.

For shops or a pub, you need to go about seven miles. It's peaceful. You're here for the landscape and the walking. The Glenshee ski slopes are about eight miles away if that's your thing.

Glamis Castle is within half an hour's drive. So is Perth. Pitlochry and its theatre are also about a thirty minute drive. If you want to go further, the Cairngorms National Park isn't far.
