Larch Cottage
Larch Cottage is in Kirkton of Glenisla. It’s a single storey lodge, so no stairs to worry about. It’s on its own, so no close neighbours.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and two bathrooms. It has a 3 Star rating which means it's comfortable, clean and reliable, not luxurious.
You’re right on the River Isla. There's a patio with a table and chairs outside the front. That's where you’ll want to sit with a drink in the evening. Inside, it’s all open plan, living room and kitchen together. There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights.
It's very rural. The nearest shop and pub are about ten miles away in Alyth, so you need to be happy driving for supplies. Alyth has a few shops and some golf courses. For outdoor stuff, there's an adventure centre about two miles away that does things like mountain biking.
The area is good for walking and cycling straight from the door. You can drive up to Glen Shee for skiing in the winter. For a bigger town, Blairgowrie is about 15 miles away.
Facilities include a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's a cot and a highchair.
