Larch Cottage is in Kirkmichael. It's a terraced cottage, one of a small row. The owner lives next door.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is about right. It's comfortable and clean, not a show home. It's got a proper open fire in the living room. That still heats the hot water when it's lit, but there's a backup system for when it's not on. There's a balcony off the living room, and the garden is just over the lane.
The stairs are steep, just so you know.
The Cateran Trail walking route goes right past the front door. You can join it from there. It's a big loop through the glens, but you can just do a short bit.
The village has a shop and a cafe about 300 yards away. There's a pub about the same distance. Both are fine.
Blairgowrie is about 13 miles away. Pitlochry is a similar distance the other way, which has the theatre and the fish ladder. The area is good for golf if that's your thing. You're right in the countryside here, so it's quiet.
For facilities, it's all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. You can bring up to two dogs.
