The Old Inverchroskie Kennels is up near Kirkmichael in Perthshire. It's a detached cottage on our land, about seventeen acres.
It sleeps two people in one bedroom. There's one bathroom, which is a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. The whole place is on one level, so it's accessible if you need that.
It's stone-built but modern inside. Big windows and French doors mean it's very light. There's a wood burner for the evenings. You get a stone patio at the front for the view, and a private bit of garden at the back. The garden isn't fully enclosed, but we let you bring two dogs. We often see red squirrels out there.
You're on the edge of proper countryside. We have deer, hares, all sorts of birds on the land. If you want to see pine martens, there's a local hide nearby. The Cateran Trail walking route is close by for good walks.
Kirkmichael village is two miles down the road. It's got two pubs, a shop, and a tearoom. Pitlochry is about ten miles away. They've got more shops, places to eat, the salmon ladder, and the Festival Theatre which puts on shows.
If you're driving, Glenshee ski centre is within half an hour. Blairgowrie, Perth, and Dundee are all roughly a thirty minute drive for bigger shops or a day out.
Things here include a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are provided. There's parking right outside and an electric vehicle charger. It's got underfloor heating and the electricity is included.
