The Old Inverchroskie Kennels is in Enochdhu, near Kirkmichael. It's a detached stone cottage on our land, about 17 acres. The view from the front is over our grounds and the hills. There's a stone patio out front and a private garden area at the back. It's not fully enclosed, but it's private. You often see red squirrels in the trees.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star, so it's well done. Everything is on the ground floor. The bathroom is a wet room. The front door and the rooms are wheelchair accessible. There's an electric vehicle charger by the parking space.
Inside, it's one open room. The kitchen, sitting area, and bed are all together. High windows and French doors mean it gets a lot of light. There's a wood burner. It has a dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.
You're welcome to bring two dogs. They can run on the land. We see a lot of wildlife here: the red squirrels, deer, hares, birds. You can sometimes see pine martens from a hide nearby.
Kirkmichael village is two miles away. There's a shop, two pubs, and a tearoom. For a bigger shop or more places to eat, Pitlochry is about ten miles. They have the Festival Theatre and the salmon ladder there.
You're right in the middle of walking country. The Cateran Trail goes through here. For skiing, Glenshee is the closest resort. Braemar is a bit further on, past the ski area. Dundee, Perth, and Blairgowrie are all within about an hour's drive.
If you need room for more people, you can book this cottage together with Inverchroskie Cottage next door.
