Sunnyside is in Kirkmichael, a village in Perthshire. It’s semi-detached, on a quiet lane. You get a sunny walled garden out the back. It’s private, and good for sitting out.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom on the ground floor. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are a fairly standard cottage staircase.
There’s a shop about 50 yards away, and a pub 100 yards. They’re both handy. The pub does food. There’s also an electric car charger a couple of minutes’ drive away in the village, by the hall.
The place is set up for walks and getting outdoors. You’re on the Cateran Trail. For skiing, Glenshee is about a 25 minute drive north. Pitlochry is about ten miles east. They’ve got the theatre there and the Enchanted Forest light show in October.
Blairgowrie is a 15 minute drive. That’s where you’ll find bigger shops. It’s a good start for exploring the Angus Glens. Golf courses are all over, including the big ones like Gleneagles, which is about 40 minutes away.
Inside it’s got what you’d expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. There’s a wood burner in the living room. Bedding and towels are included. There’s on-site parking. It’s a family-friendly place, we’ve got a cot and highchair there if you need them.
