Inverchroskie Cottage is a stone house on our land near Enochdhu. It's detached, so no neighbours to worry about. You're in the middle of about 17 acres. The view from the back is over our fields towards the hills.
It sleeps five, in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's mostly on one level, which people like. There's one small step into the living room, that's all.
The living space is open plan with high ceilings. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. We've put in an electric vehicle charger in the parking area.
Outside, there's a patio and a small lawn. You might see red squirrels, deer, or hares. We've got a pine marten hide set up nearby if you're interested in watching them.
The village of Kirkmichael is two miles away. It's got two pubs, a shop, and a tearoom. For a bigger town, Pitlochry is about ten miles. It has shops, places to eat, the salmon ladder, and the Festival Theatre.
If you're walking, the Cateran Trail is on the doorstep. For skiing, Glenshee is a 20-minute drive. Braemar, which has the Highland Games, is a bit further on from there. Blairgowrie, Perth, and Dundee are all within about a 45-minute drive.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. We allow up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
If you need more space, it can be booked alongside our other property, The Old Inverchroskie Kennels.
