Inverchroskie Cottage is our place near Enochdhu in Perthshire. It's a stone cottage, detached, on our 17 acres. The main thing is the view. You look out over fields and hills. It's very quiet.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy. Everything is on one level, which is good for accessibility, but there's a single step up into the living room from the hall.
The living area is open plan with high ceilings. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The patio is a nice spot, it gets the sun. The lawn is small but it leads onto our vegetable garden. You'll see red squirrels and deer from the window. There's a local hide nearby if you want to try and spot pine martens.
You're right in the middle of good walking. The Cateran Trail goes through here. For local supplies, Kirkmichael village is two miles away. It has a shop, a tearoom, and two pubs.
Pitlochry is about a twenty-minute drive. There's a theatre there, shops, and the fish ladder. Blairgowrie and Perth are within half an hour. Glenshee ski centre is roughly 30 minutes up the road. If you carry on past that, you get to Braemar.
Facilities: it has a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger. We can take up to two well-behaved dogs.
